EPIC Elite All Star Teams

All Star teams practice twice a week and compete at 6-7 competitions throughout the year.  Some of these competitions will require traveling to other cities and potentially other states. Additional practices during competition season may be added to make-up for holiday breaks and prepare team further.

EPIC Elite All Star Prep Teams

All Star Prep is a great way to get into the wide world of competitive cheerleading.  These athletes will practice twice a week and compete at 3-4 competitions. All Star Prep athletes will receive a discounted tuition as well as a discounted apparel package.

EPIC Elite All Star Mid-Season Prep Teams Limited Travel

Our Mid-Season teams will begin in November 2018.  These athletes will practice twice a week and compete at 2-3 competitions.  All of these competitions are local to the Austin – San Antonio area. Mid-Season All Star Prep Mid-season athletes will receive a discounted tuition as well as a discounted apparel package.

EPIC Elites All Star Novice Teams

Our All Star Novice Teams are designed for those who want to learn more about the All Star cheer world without competing. These teams will learn a skill and technique based routine that they will then perform at competitions. All Star Novice athletes will receive a discounted tuition as well as a discounted apparel package. The routine will be evaluated but no placement will be given at competitions.

EPIC Elite All Star FUNdamentals

All Star FUNdamentals is the first step into experiencing All Star Cheer. We welcome new athletes with no previous experience and make sure they have fun, make friends and learn in all the ins and out of all star cheer if a safe and fun environment. All Star FUNdamentals athletes will receive a discounted tuition as well as a discounted apparel package.  This is a low-pressure, non-competitive yet technique based program.

EPIC Elite CheerAbilities-Exceptional Athlete (Special Needs)

CheerAbilities is our special needs cheer team. CheerAbilities athletes will receive a discounted tuition as well as a discounted apparel package. We will have 3 to 4 local performances in the Austin and San Antonio area. Special needs teams will receive a discounted tuition, discount uniform and practice 1-2 days a week for an hour each.  

Attendance Policy

EPIC athletes are allowed 3 unexcused absences during the school year.  Excused absences are as follows: Required school function (graded), contagious illness, death in the family. All excused absences must have a completed absence request form filled out minimum of Two Weeks Prior to absence. Two weeks prior to competitions no absences are allowed. Unexcused absences will result in conditioning, removed from the following competition or performance or becoming an alternate on the team. All athletes are responsible for finding a fill in athlete for them on dates they will be absent. We do our best to have our schedule reflects the Lake Travis ISD school calendar.  Therefore, ALL VACATIONS should be planned during one of the SUMMER, WINTER, or SPRING BREAKS provided.

If your athlete will be attending one of our tryout dates or would like more information regarding the EPIC ELITE cheer program please make sure to attend one of our informational parent meetings.  Attending a pre-tryout meeting is required if you are tryout for the 2018-2019 season.  

To Register for tryouts fill out the tryout packet and return it to the front desk with copy of birth certificate, try out fee, release form/application, team roster information, headshot/school picture, and completed financial agreement by May 21st, 2018.

Tryout Registration

  • Before May 1st- $50 (Will be charged on April 21st.)
  • After May 1st – $75 (Will be charged at tryouts.)

Tryouts – Tryouts will begin promptly at 6:00 PM and finish at 7:30 PM. Your athlete only needs to attend one day.

You will receive a phone call from one of your Epic coaches excited to announce your team placement by May 31st.

GYM REVEAL – MAY 6th – Meet your 2018-2019 Cheer coaches, check out our new facility, hang out with friends, learn more about our program and the upcoming season, open gym tumble and check out our Nfnity pop-up store where you can purchase cheer shoes, clothing, backpacks, etc.

Team Practice Schedules will be released after tryouts. Practices begin the week of June 4th.

Your uniforms will be used to our EPIC Elite Legacy show teams. Once we have tryouts the uniforms will be sold to the show teams and the sold amount will go towards your new uniform. We were also able to keep the cost of the new uniforms down this season to make this all work.

The are not mandatory due to the fact that they are an additional cost however we would like all athletes to try and participate.  

We hand out the dates ahead of time to be sure that everyone blocks off that entire day. We will not receive times for competitions until the Wednesday the week of.

Tryout will be very laid back and fun for the athletes. We want the athletes to be comfortable and will be not be doing tryout individually. They will meet friends and coaches. We will stretch as a group, tumble as a group, jump as a group and learn small bit of choreography as a group. While doing this together coaches will be evaluation your athlete. We wanna make it stress free for the athletes!

Tiny Novice – ages 3 to 6

Tiny – ages 5 to 6

Mini – ages 5 to 8

Youth – ages 5 to 11

Junior – ages 5 to 14

Senior level 1 to 4 – ages 10 to 18

Restricted Youth 5 –  ages 5 to 11

Restricted Junior 5 – ages 5 to 14

Restricted Senior 5 – ages 10 to 18

Senior 5 – ages 12 to 18

Open 4- ages 17 and older

Senior 4.2- ages 10 to 18

There are 5 levels of teams. Starting with level 1 and increasing by difficulty to level 5. The level refers to the difficulty in stunts, tumbling and pyramid each team will perform. The level your athletes will be places on is determined by our coaching staff.

You can find the absence request form on out website or you can pick one up at the front desk.

We match our teams to the best level we feel appropriate. Please remember that there is not just tumbling in routines. Routines include jumps, stunting, pyramid, motions and dance as well. Some will contribute more in stunts and some may be better tumblers then others. Everyone is added to the team for a reason. Trust your coaches.
